Is LEGO a good investment? What two years of StockX resale data shows
The same sealed LEGO sets sold for a median 19% more on StockX this spring and summer than a year earlier, and 133 of 148 went up. Most sneakers were flat. What the data cannot tell you is how far any of that sits above retail.
Which sneakers resell furthest above retail right now? Mostly Travis Scott
A Travis Scott Jordan 1 Low bought at $130 now resells for about $1,958, over 15 times retail. But pairs like that are rare. Fewer than one sneaker in 25 sells for double its store price, and the typical pair sells 17% below it.
The most expensive Nike sneakers on resale right now (2026)
Leave Jordan Brand out and only 11 Nike sneakers resold for a typical $1,000 or more over the last 90 days. Every one is a collaboration, led by the Off-White Air Force 1 'MCA' at $1,652.50.
Holiday planning for sneaker resale stores: when demand peaks and when to buy

The best-selling sneakers on StockX right now (September 2026)
A $56 YZY shoe outsold everything else on StockX over the last four weeks, more than twice over. Behind it, Nike's Mind 001 slides and a Timberland boot climbed the chart while the ASICS Gel-1130 White and the Jordan 5 Wolf Grey fell away.
How much do Air Max 97s cost on resale? $136, and rising
A typical pair of Air Max 97s resold for $136 over the last 90 days. The same shoes sell for about 16% more than a year ago, the biggest rise of any Air Max line we track, while the Air Max 95 went the other way.
Do Converse hold their value? Resale vs. retail for 192 Chucks
Better than most sneakers. Almost half of Converse on StockX resell above retail, against about a third of Nike and Jordan, and the same Converse shoes sell for 18% more than a year ago. The famous Comme des Garçons Chucks are the exception.
Sneaker inventory planning with resale data: when, what sizes and how fast
A merchandise planner's view of 23 million GOAT and StockX sales. Boots swing sixfold across the year, sizes 9 to 11 are half the business, and a launch does more than a third of its first half-year in four weeks.
Do StockX and GOAT prices move together? Barely week to week, strongly over a year
For the same shoe, one week's price change on StockX says little about GOAT. Stretch the window to three months and the two markets agree most of the time. Over a year they move together 89% of the time.
