Privacy Policy

SneakerPulse (sneakers-pulse.com) publishes sneaker resale market analytics. This page explains what happens to data when you visit. In short: there are no accounts, we do not ask you for personal information, and we do not sell visitor data.
What we collect
We do not require registration and we do not collect names, addresses or payment details. We use two analytics services to understand how many people visit and which pages they read:

Your browser also stores a few small values locally so the site works as expected: your platform choice (All, GOAT or StockX) and short-lived cached copies of API responses so pages load faster. These stay in your browser, are not sent to us, and are cleared when you clear site data.
Email newsletter
If you sign up for the email newsletter, your address goes to Buttondown, the service that stores the list and sends the emails (Buttondown's privacy policy). We use it only to send that email. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time using the contact address below.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, and our data API runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Affiliate links
eBay links on SneakerPulse are affiliate links through the eBay Partner Network; GOAT and
StockX links are not. If you click an affiliate link and buy
something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links are marked with
rel="sponsored", and the retailer sets its own cookies once you arrive on its site,
governed by that retailer's privacy policy. Affiliate relationships never change the numbers we
publish: prices, medians and volumes come from recorded marketplace transactions, not from
whoever pays a commission.
Where our data comes from
The market data on this site describes products and completed sales on GOAT and StockX, obtained through the kicks.dev API. It contains no information about you, and no information that identifies individual buyers or sellers.
YouTube
SneakerPulse publishes short videos to its own YouTube channel, Sneaker Pulse (@sneakerpulsestat), using the YouTube API Services. Our app (the "SneakerPulse uploader") signs in only to that channel, which we own, to upload our videos and to read that channel's own video statistics (views, likes, watch time) and public search results for sneaker videos, so we can see which topics people watch. It does not ask YouTube viewers to sign in, and it does not collect, store or share any information about viewers or other YouTube users.
By watching our videos on YouTube you are using YouTube, which is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Anyone who has granted an app access to a Google account can review or remove that access at any time on the Google security settings page.
SneakerPulse also publishes Pins to its own Pinterest account using the Pinterest API. Our app (the "SneakerPulse Publisher") signs in only to that account, which we own, to create Pins and boards and to read that account's own Pin statistics (impressions, saves, clicks). It does not ask Pinterest users to sign in and does not collect, store or share any information about Pinterest users. Using Pinterest is governed by Pinterest's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Opting out
- Browser-level: enable "Do Not Track" or block cookies for this site; the site works fine without them.
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Clear everything this site stored: clear site data for sneakers-pulse.com in your browser settings.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
